The father of former BBNaija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has spoken out following a viral incident that led to a heated family confrontation and multiple hospitalisations.
Emmanuel Odiniya, in a voice note currently circulating online, claimed that the altercation with his daughter was not driven by hatred but by frustration over what he described as a drastic change in her behaviour after her rise to fame.
According to him, he played a significant role in supporting Ilebaye during her time on the reality show, mobilising votes and leveraging his network to ensure her victory.
However, he alleged that their relationship became strained shortly after her win.
He accused the reality star of becoming distant, unresponsive, and allegedly disrespectful, stating that she frequently ignored scheduled appointments and no longer related with him as her father.
Emmanuel also expressed concern over her lifestyle choices, particularly alleged cosmetic procedures, which he said he had advised against due to her age.
In a more serious claim, he alleged that Ilebaye had physically assaulted him on previous occasions, including an incident where he said she struck him with an object, causing injury.

Speaking on the most recent confrontation, he maintained that his daughter initiated the physical aggression, which then escalated into a full-blown altercation that left several family members injured.
He further alleged that despite his health challenges, including plans for medical treatment abroad, Ilebaye refused to provide financial assistance, even though she was seen spending lavishly at social events.
The father also made additional claims about her influence on her younger brother and interference in family matters, which he said contributed to ongoing tensions within the household.
Despite the accusations, Emmanuel emphasised that he still loves his daughter and hopes for reconciliation, calling on Nigerians to pray for the family.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred at their residence in Abuja, with both Ilebaye and her family members sustaining injuries.
Authorities confirmed that all parties involved received medical attention, while the police stepped in to manage the situation and ensure safety.
The incident gained widespread attention after Ilebaye shared an emotional livestream, prompting concern among fans and the public.
