Michael Carrick has admitted that his future at Manchester United remains uncertain, despite successfully guiding the club back to the UEFA Champions League.
The interim manager, who took charge following the departure of Ruben Amorim in January, has overseen an impressive turnaround—winning 10 of his 14 Premier League matches.
Speaking ahead of United’s clash with Sunderland, Carrick emphasized that clarity regarding his role has yet to be established.
“Clarity is important. The situation and my role moving forward haven’t really changed,” he said.
“For now, the focus is on finishing the season strongly. What happens next is out of my hands.”
Despite growing support for him to take the role permanently, Carrick maintained a calm stance, noting that a final decision will likely come at the end of the season.
