Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had earlier suggested there was optimism around the fitness of some of the sidelined players following their 3–0 Premier League victory over Fulham, but their absence from training has raised fresh doubts over their availability.
There was better news for the squad as Bukayo Saka returned to full training after recovering from injury. The winger also featured in the win against Fulham, providing a timely boost ahead of the Champions League clash.
