
Nigerian comedian Carter Efe has received a N50 million cash reward from businessman and socialite Emeka Okonkwo following his victory over controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable.
The celebrity boxing match, which generated significant buzz on social media, took place at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, during the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event.
The bout was the highlight of the night, coming after weeks of heated exchanges and public challenges between both entertainers.
Carter Efe dominated the three-round contest, using his height and reach advantage to outclass Portable.
At the end of the fight, all three judges scored the bout 30–27 in favour of the comedian, sealing a unanimous decision victory.
Following the match, E-Money confirmed the N50 million reward, fulfilling an earlier promise to support the winner.

The announcement came after a prompt by Ezekiel Adamu, Chief Executive Officer of Balmoral Group Promotions.
“You know we put our money where our mouth is.
Congratulations Carter on your win N50 million for you,” E-Money said.
Adamu also praised the event, describing it as entertaining and successful, while hinting at more editions in the future.
Portable, who had earlier expressed confidence about securing another victory following previous exhibition wins, was unable to match Carter Efe’s performance on the night.
The fight has since sparked reactions online, with fans applauding Carter Efe’s performance and E-Money’s gesture, further boosting the popularity of celebrity boxing events in Nigeria.
