Premier League club Fulham have set their sights on Nigerian international Chibuike Nwaiwu ahead of the summer transfer window, following his standout performances in the Turkish Süper Lig.
According to reports from FourFourTwo, the London-based side are closely monitoring the 22-year-old defender, who currently plays for Trabzonspor. Fulham are also said to be tracking his teammate, Wagner Pina, as part of efforts to strengthen their squad.
Nwaiwu has quickly made a name for himself since joining Trabzonspor from Austrian side Wolfsberger AC in January. His strong defensive displays, combined with his ability to contribute offensively, have made him one of the league’s emerging talents.
The Nigerian defender has already delivered key moments for his club, including a crucial winning goal against league leaders Galatasaray, while continuing to impress with consistent performances.

However, Fulham may face stiff competition for his signature, with interest also coming from the Bundesliga. German champions Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly keeping tabs on the defender, highlighting the growing demand for his services across Europe.
