Nigerian Afrobeats star Simi has welcomed her second child with her husband, fellow singer Adekunle Gold.
The singer shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing that their baby was born on March 10, 2026. Her announcement also clarified earlier rumors from January suggesting the couple had welcomed twins, confirming instead the arrival of a single child.
Simi and Adekunle Gold, who got married in January 2019, had their first child, Adejare, on May 30, 2020.

Hints about the pregnancy first surfaced in December 2025 when Adekunle Gold released his music video for “My Love Is The Same,” which featured Simi visibly pregnant.
Celebrating the new addition, Simi expressed her joy at becoming a mother of two, writing, “+1. 3.10.26 God bless my little family #mommyof2.”
