Popular Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has opened up about her marriage, revealing why she does not feel like a typical married woman.
Speaking during a recent interview on the African A-List podcast, the actress described her husband, Kayode Salako, as “the definition of peace,” noting that their relationship is built on understanding and freedom rather than control.
According to Daramola, her husband gives her the space to live her life independently without restrictions. She explained that even if she decides to travel abroad for a long period, he would simply support her decision, adding that his attitude is not a sign of a lack of love but mutual respect.
She further described him as her best friend and greatest supporter, emphasizing that their bond goes beyond conventional marriage expectations. While acknowledging that they have disagreements like every couple, she said they resolve their issues quickly, often within a short time.
