
Suspected terrorists attacked travellers along the Kabba–Obajana road in Kogi State around midnight, leaving several passengers injured and three people feared dead.
A survivor, identified on X as Móráyọ̀ (@MORADUNNI), said the bus she was travelling in from Jos to Lagos came under gunfire from both sides of the road.
According to her, the attackers targeted the driver and shot at the bus, damaging the side mirror and tyres. Passengers reportedly laid on the floor while the driver managed to escape the ambush.

The group later stopped at a nearby village where locals assisted an injured passenger.
However, another bus travelling behind them was hit harder, with several passengers injured and three killed.
Security agencies have yet to comment on the attack.
