A deadly attack by suspected insurgents has left several soldiers dead and scores of women and children abducted in Gwoza Local Government Area, Borno State.
The raid targeted both military personnel and civilians in the Ngoshe community, causing widespread fear and panic.
According to eyewitnesses, heavily armed militants stormed the area late Tuesday, overwhelming military posts before moving into residential neighborhoods.
Initial reports indicate that at least nine soldiers and an imam were killed, while over 100 women and children were reportedly abducted during the assault.
