Motunrayo Kuti, daughter of the legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has publicly criticized singer Wizkid following his claim that he is “bigger” than her father.
In a video message, Motunrayo strongly defended her father’s legacy, saying, “Wizkid, you said you are bigger than Fela, right? Our father is definitely bigger than your father and mother.
Don’t worry, we will all be here when they start to rubbish your own legacy too.”
The dispute comes after Wizkid responded to earlier criticisms from Seun Kuti, Fela’s son, asserting his prominence in the music industry.
