
A 25-year-old man, Abubakar Musa, has been arrested by operatives of the Ajuwon Division of the police in Ogun State for allegedly killing two persons and injuring three others following a failed business transaction.
The incident occurred in the Olambe community in Ifo Local Government Area in the early hours of Tuesday, at about 1:38 a.m., when the suspect reportedly attacked the victims with a knife.
According to reports, the victims were allegedly trying to calm the suspect during a heated disagreement linked to a business deal when he suddenly turned violent and stabbed five people.
Two of the victims, identified as Gbadamasi Ibrahim, 25, and a 40-year-old man, Chinedu, were confirmed dead at the hospital after succumbing to their injuries.

Three others, Mohammed Abubakar, 35, Ashiru Adamu, 25, and Paul Lawrence, 25, sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
Medical personnel say they are responding to treatment.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed the incident, stating that the suspect fled the scene after the attack but was later apprehended by detectives.
He added that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.
Reacting, the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, condemned the incident and assured residents that justice would be served.
He also urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious or violent behaviour to the police.
