Nollywood actress Obioma has declared her readiness to take up romantic roles and also revealed the role that she would never accept, the Imo State-born actress emerged as one of the industry’s most sought-after fresh faces, gaining attention not only for her talent but also for her captivating screen presence.
In a recent interview Ofoegbu expressed her openness to exploring a wide range of characters but emphasised the boundaries she has set for herself. She explained that she is comfortable portraying romance or even deep kissing on screen, as long as such scenes are integral to the story and effectively convey its message.
“I don’t mind romantic or deep-kissing roles as long as they are significant to the story and will enhance its narrative. As an artist, I strive to make those moments as realistic as possible. However, I’ll reject any blasphemous role. That’s a ‘no’ for me. Any consciously blasphemous role is off-limits, regardless of how lucrative the offer may be,” she stated.

Asked how she spent her Christmas day, the fast-rising actress revealed that after spending months away from home due to work commitments, she had to rest and reconnect with her loved ones. “I’ve missed my family, and I’ve been away for a while, so I had to go spend time with them,” she said, adding that there will be no travelling this year. Instead, her family will celebrate the holiday season together in Abuja.
Reflecting on her childhood, Ofoegbu recalled Christmas as a time filled with warmth, excitement, and togetherness. One of her fondest memories was the tradition of family dinners, which became even more special on Christmas Day. “After a sumptuous lunch, we would visit amusement parks, followed by dinner. I also received many new outfits and gifts from my parents. It was a day I always looked forward to. I want to bring back those memories because I still cherish them; they were so much fun,” she reminisced.
As 2025 draws to a close, the “Always You” star emphasises gratitude at the centre of her reflections. She expressed appreciation for life, family, friends, and the opportunities that the year has brought her. Among her notable achievements is a comic series she produced, which is set to be released soon on her YouTube channel. “I am truly thankful for it all,” she said.
