
At least 15 farmers and firewood gatherers have reportedly been killed by suspected Boko Haram terrorists in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.
The victims were reportedly ambushed while working around Ala and Musune wards on Wednesday evening. According to the police, 15 bodies have been recovered and buried, while three others remain missing.

The Borno State Police Command said efforts were ongoing to locate the missing persons, while details of the attack were still being gathered.
Amnesty International has condemned the killings and called on authorities to take urgent measures to protect vulnerable communities in the affected areas.
