Afrobeat star Seun Kuti has accused popular singer Wizkid of copying his nickname.
During a recent livestream, a fan of Wizkid suggested that Seun should change his nickname “Big Bird,” claiming it was too similar to Wizkid’s “Biggest Bird.”
Seun Kuti responded firmly, insisting that he is the original bearer of the name. “Wizkid stole my name.
Tell your fave to be original. Why are you telling me to change my name? Sorry, I can’t change it. This name has been here since. I am the first to come up with it. I am not dragging it with anybody, please,” he said.
