The Enugu North Senator Okey Ezea who died in Lagos after brief illness according the released statement by the son, Jideofor will be buried on 13 February 2026

Ezea defeated Ambassador Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi the former governor of Enugu state in 2023 senatorial poll.
