One person has been confirmed dead following a collision between a tricycle and a light truck (LT) bus at Iyana Ejigbo, Lagos State.
The fatal accident occurred on Monday morning in front of Grooming Centre, inward Iyana Ejigbo.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the incident in an update on Monday, stating that the crash claimed one life.

According to the agency, LASTMA officials and police officers promptly arrived at the scene to carry out emergency response and rescue operations.
The agency urged motorists and pedestrians to obey traffic regulations and exercise caution to prevent avoidable road accidents.
