
Nigerian music star, Lojay, has opened up about why he decided to abandon his earlier mindset about womanising after rising to fame.
Speaking during an appearance on the I Said What I Said podcast, the “Monalisa” crooner admitted that he once believed being a pop star would naturally come with the freedom to engage with multiple women.
According to him, that perception changed as he began to understand what it truly takes to build a lasting career in the music industry.
Lojay explained that the entertainment industry is filled with temptations, especially for young and successful artists.
However, he stressed that not everything available should be indulged in, noting that self-control becomes even more important when faced with constant attention.

In reality, he said, artists are often careful about their actions because of the impact on their reputation and public image.
Reflecting on his journey, Lojay noted that his initial attraction to the flashy lifestyle of mainstream artists faded once he experienced it firsthand.
He credited his personal values and mindset for helping him stay grounded and make better decisions.
The singer concluded that discipline, especially in personal relationships, is essential for anyone aiming to achieve longevity and success in the highly competitive music industry.
