The management of veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has disclosed that the actress experienced unexpected complications following surgery, as she continues her recovery journey.
In a statement released alongside a video showing the actress receiving treatment in a hospital bed, her management revealed that she underwent surgery over three months ago but has yet to make a full recovery.
According to the statement, although the actress is gradually healing, she is still not completely back to her normal health.
Her management explained that Nwosu personally requested to address the public to express her appreciation for the overwhelming love, prayers, messages and financial assistance she received during her health crisis.
The statement read: “Over three months ago, so many of you showed up with love, prayers, and support when she needed it most. We are still incredibly grateful to everyone who gave, shared her story, sent a message, or kept her in their prayers.”

The team further disclosed that her recovery had been complicated by unforeseen medical challenges, adding that she remains under recovery.
It also appealed to members of the public to continue supporting the actress with prayers and encouragement as she works towards regaining her health.
Recall that Ngozi Nwosu had earlier opened up about battling an undisclosed health condition that required three surgeries, with the estimated cost put at ₦30 million.
The actress subsequently appealed to the public for financial assistance to help cover her medical expenses.
Her latest health update has renewed concern among fans and colleagues, with many expected to continue wishing the veteran actress a speedy and complete recovery.
