Human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has revealed that the first time he was arrested was when he was 16 years old.
According to the lawyer in a post he made on Facebook to mark his 45th birthday and wedding anniversary, he started taking risks for what he believes in since he was a teenager.
Adeyanju thanked God for the grace working in his life.
“Happy 45th birthday to me. And also happy wedding anniversary to my wife and I. I’m indeed privileged to have made it thus far because of the numerous risks since I was a teenager. My first arrest was at 16 & thereafter, in & out of jail & detention facilities for what I believe in. It has been God’s grace at work,” the lawyer wrote on Facebook.
His friends and fans took to the comment section to heap prayers and goodwill messages on the celebrant.
