
South African police have arrested a woman in connection with the murder of a Nigerian ride‑hailing driver, in an incident that has shocked both local and Nigerian communities.
The victim, a Nigerian national working for Bolt, was reportedly attacked while on duty in Pretoria West.
According to police reports, the suspects lured him into a secluded area, struck him with a blunt object, and stabbed him multiple times, leading to his death before fleeing the scene.

Authorities located the driver’s body shortly afterward and launched an investigation that quickly led to the arrest of the female suspect.
