Rapper Aboriomoh Femi Raymond, popularly known as Dremo, has expressed frustration over what he perceives as a lack of recognition for his talent in the Nigerian music industry.
In a recent interview with Echo Room, the former DMW artist lamented that his skills are not fully appreciated. “I feel like I am so underrated.
People don’t know what I can do in the studio. But it is okay, I like the underdog story. I feel like I am so underrated. Dem no rate me at all,” he said.

Dremo explained that despite releasing quality music and collaborating with top artists, his efforts often go unnoticed, and he rarely receives the accolades or recognition he believes he deserves.
He suggested that the popularity of his genre, rap, might also be a factor, noting that most Nigerians tend to favor Afrobeats and pop music over rap.
He also revealed that his experience with Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) fell short of expectations. According to him, the record label focused primarily on its CEO, Davido, often to the detriment of other artists under the label.
