“When people appreciate the work that one puts in, it means a lot because it’s a lot of work,” she explained. “That kind of role takes a lot out of you physically, mentally and even spiritually — blood, sweat and tears. Seeing people appreciate it pushes us to do more.”
Isime added that the demands of acting are often underestimated, but the recognition from audiences helps validate the sacrifices involved in bringing complex roles to life.
