Fans planning to see Burna Boy’s US tour were left disappointed as his scheduled performance tonight, November 28, 2025, at The Armory in Minneapolis, was abruptly cancelled.
Ticketmaster confirmed the last-minute cancellation on Thursday, alongside another show originally set for December 1, 2025, in Chicago.
Tour organizers did not provide an official reason for the cancellations. However, the development comes in the wake of public criticism following a viral incident in Colorado, where Burna Boy walked off stage after noticing a fan asleep during his performance.
The singer’s reaction, later shared during an Instagram live session, sparked further controversy when he stated he “only wants supporters who buy his tickets and not fans.”
Reports later revealed that the fan who dozed off was grieving a recent personal loss, adding to the public backlash.
Confirming the cancellations, Burna Boy shared a post on his Instagram story Friday morning, linking directly to the ticketing website, which showed both concerts had been officially called off.
