Adekunle Olapade, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has alleged that he was abducted and detained for eight hours by operatives of the Nigerian Police Force.
Recounting his ordeal on social media, the Lagos-based reality star claimed that the officers handcuffed and physically assaulted him during the incident before eventually releasing him.
He recounted that the incident could have ended tragically if not for divine intervention. However, he declined to disclose the circumstances surrounding his alleged abduction.
“What a night! I was kidnapped, harassed, and handcuffed by the Nigerian Police Force for the past eight hours.
This story could have taken a completely different turn, and no one would have known. But glory be to God, I’m alive today,” he wrote.
As of the time of this report, the police are yet to respond to his allegations.
