Big Brother Naija Season 11 has taken an unexpected turn following the introduction of a new twist known as “The Gambit.”
Biggie announced that viewers will vote to select one male and one female housemate as Gambit players. The selected contestants will automatically secure places in the grand finale, regardless of future nominations or evictions.
However, the advantage comes with a significant trade-off. Although the Gambit housemates will remain in the competition until the final, they will not be eligible to win the show’s ₦160 million grand prize.

The twist was unveiled shortly after the housemates entered the Big Brother house, immediately changing the dynamics of the competition and prompting mixed reactions from fans.
Many viewers have welcomed the new format, while others have questioned whether a guaranteed place in the finale is worth sacrificing the opportunity to emerge as the overall winner.
With 24 housemates competing this season, Biggie has hinted that more surprises and game-changing twists are still to come.
