Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Gerard, has opened up about his emotional struggles during his time on the reality show, revealing that fear of an early eviction left him depressed.
Gerard said he became worried that he would be evicted in the third week and feared that his time in the house would be remembered mainly for his relationship with fellow housemate Kamsy.
According to him, the pressure influenced his decision to end his romantic relationship with Kamsy because he did not want to be perceived as someone who entered the BBNaija house simply because of a woman.
He explained that after everything he had gone through before entering the show, he was concerned that his biggest takeaway from the experience would be his association with Kamsy.

Gerard’s decision came shortly after a pool party incident involving Kamsy and Chimsom, where Kamsy danced intimately with Chimsom and sat on his shoulder.
The incident reportedly triggered Gerard’s jealousy, with the reality star describing Kamsy’s actions as disrespectful and accusing her of being manipulative.
Gerard has since said he will focus on his personal journey and how he wants to be remembered beyond his relationship drama in the Big Brother Naija house.
