Mercy Eke, winner of Big Brother Naija Season 4, has revealed that she places greater value on wealth than celebrity status, saying she would willingly give up fame for financial security.
In a recent interview, the reality TV star stated that she would trade her fame for $2 billion, emphasizing that fame without money holds little meaning for her. She noted that she would not hesitate to step away from social media, public attention, and her influence if offered such a substantial sum.

Eke explained that while she occasionally enjoys being in the spotlight, she would ultimately prefer a quieter life if she had the financial means to do so. According to her, the money would allow her to live comfortably, potentially owning a private island and securing a stable future for herself and her family.
She reiterated that financial independence matters far more to her than maintaining celebrity status.
“I only enjoy being famous occasionally. I would trade my fame for 2 billion dollars. What is fame really worth? Give me money and remove me from every social media platform—I’d give up everything for it,” she said.
