US Sends Military Aid to Nigeria Amid Rising Security Concerns

The support, announced by the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), comes amid ongoing security challenges and repeated attacks by armed groups across the country.

The deployment follows a US airstrike on ISWAP positions in Sokoto on Christmas Day, signaling America’s continued focus on counter-terrorism operations in Nigeria.
