Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has expressed deep gratitude after fellow actress Opeyemi Aiyeola forgave him over past mistakes. Earlier this month, Azeez had publicly apologised to Aiyeola, admitting the hurt his actions caused her.
Taking to Instagram to share the update, Azeez described Aiyeola’s forgiveness as his “best gift of 2025.” He also thanked fans, friends, and colleagues who stood by him during the process, giving special appreciation to senior figures in the film industry who intervened on his behalf.
In an emotional message, Azeez praised Aiyeola, referring to her as his sister, mother, boss, mentor, and number one supporter. He acknowledged that he had learned hard lessons from the experience and expressed sincere remorse for his actions.
Azeez further appealed to his followers to visit Aiyeola’s page to offer prayers and goodwill, noting that the collective support made reconciliation possible.
