After two rounds of group-stage matches, six countries have successfully booked their spots in the knockout phase. The teams are Mexico, the United States, Germany, Argentina, France, and Norway.
Co-hosts Mexico became the first nation to qualify after recording victories over South Africa and South Korea in Group A. The impressive results ensured their place among the first teams to advance.
The United States followed shortly after, securing qualification from Group D with wins against Paraguay and Australia. The Americans have been one of the standout sides of the tournament so far and are guaranteed a place in the next round.
Germany also confirmed their progression after back-to-back victories over Curaçao and Côte d’Ivoire. The European giants have displayed their attacking strength and remain among the favourites for the title.
Defending champions Argentina continued their strong campaign thanks largely to captain Lionel Messi, who has enjoyed a remarkable start to the tournament. The South Americans secured qualification with victories over Algeria and Austria.
