Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has identified goalkeeper Senne Lammens as the club’s standout signing for the season, praising the Belgian’s impact since his arrival.
Lammens, who joined the Red Devils from Royal Antwerp last summer, has impressed with consistent performances between the sticks, quickly establishing himself as a key figure in the squad.
Manchester United reinforced their squad with several notable signings, including Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Šeško, and Bryan Mbeumo.
However, Hargreaves believes Lammens has offered the most value and influence among the new arrivals.

Speaking after United’s goalless draw against Sunderland in the Premier League, Hargreaves highlighted the importance of resolving the team’s goalkeeping issues.
“I’ll tell you who has probably been the best signing of them all Senne Lammens,” he said. “He didn’t cost much, so he’s excellent value for money.
Honestly, if they hadn’t fixed the goalkeeper situation, they wouldn’t be in the top four.”
Lammens’ performances have not only strengthened United defensively but have also played a crucial role in their push for a top-four finish this season.
