Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule has revealed that he once went as far as pricing his own casket during a difficult period in his life.
The respected Yoruba movie star made the disclosure in an interview, where he reflected on one of his lowest moments in the film industry.
According to him, the decision came at a time when he felt completely hopeless about his career and future.
Odule explained that he was not battling any illness but was overwhelmed by frustration and a sense of stagnation, especially when he compared his progress to that of his peers.
He recalled that fellow actor Olaiya Igwe accompanied him during the emotional visit to check casket prices, adding that the experience left his colleague in tears.
