
A truck lost control and hit six vehicles at Ganmo Market along the Ilorin–Ajase-Ipo highway on Thursday, police said.
The crash happened about 5 p.m. in Ifelodun Local Government Area. Police said the vehicles involved were the truck, two private cars, two tricycles, a motorcycle and a commercial shuttle bus.
Witnesses said the truck was traveling from the Ilorin direction when it struck a tricycle, then hit other vehicles.
No deaths were reported. Several people were injured. A motorcyclist, Suraju, said he jumped from his bike to avoid the truck. Witness Sara Abdullateef said a mother and child escaped from a parked car that was hit after the truck pushed a shuttle bus into it.

Traders and commuters ran from the area after the crash. Police from the Ganmo Division responded to manage traffic and secure the scene.
The truck driver left the scene, police said. Local residents helped the injured before medical personnel arrived.
Authorities are clearing the highway and investigating the cause of the crash.
