
Troops under Sector 1 of the Operation FANSAN YAMMA have successfully repelled a suspected terrorist attack in Jarhawa village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident reportedly occurred on April 29 at about 4:30 p.m. when armed assailants attacked civilians in the community.
Security sources confirmed that troops stationed at the Forward Operating Base in Sabon Birni responded swiftly after receiving a distress call.

Their rapid intervention forced the attackers to flee upon sighting advancing soldiers.
One civilian who sustained gunshot injuries during the attack was promptly evacuated and treated.
The area has since been secured by the troops, while operations are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects and prevent further threats in the community.
