Former United States President Donald Trump has issued a strong military warning over reports of Iranian naval activity near a newly declared U.S. blockade of Iranian ports.
Trump said that any Iranian fast attack boats approaching the blockade area would face immediate military response from U.S. forces. He stated that such vessels would be “eliminated” if they came too close to American naval positions.
The statement comes after the United States announced a naval blockade targeting Iran’s ports. Trump claimed the move was necessary to limit what he described as hostile maritime activities in the region.

He also said that Iran’s naval strength had already been severely reduced, adding that many of its naval assets had been “completely destroyed” in previous operations.
According to him, the U.S. military would apply similar tactics used in past maritime strikes against suspected drug trafficking boats in international waters near Venezuela.
The warning has increased concerns about rising tensions between the United States and Iran, with fears that further confrontations at sea could worsen the already fragile situation in the region.
