Social media activist VeryDarkMan has raised concerns over a recent apology from socialite King Mitchy, suggesting that the gesture may have a hidden motive.
King Mitchy had earlier issued a public apology to VeryDarkMan, acknowledging his advocacy and expressing regret for confronting him during their recent online dispute.
In her message, she stated that she understands his fight for a better Nigeria and noted that he needs more supporters rather than critics.
However, reacting to the apology in a video shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan questioned the timing and intention behind the statement.

He said the apology appeared suspicious and hinted that it might be a distraction meant to mislead the public.
The activist also referenced a previous incident involving actor and social media personality Lege Miami, who had earlier posted a video about the issue and later deleted it, reportedly stating that he received calls from influential individuals.
VeryDarkMan further mentioned Seyi Tinubu while discussing the controversy. He claimed that if anything happens to him, certain individuals should be held accountable, adding that he remains concerned about his safety.
According to him, messages intended to intimidate him were allegedly sent through people who know him during the period the disagreement was ongoing.
He also warned that there could be attempts to falsely implicate him in criminal activities.
VeryDarkMan said that if any claims involving drugs, fraud, money laundering, or illegal weapons emerge against him, the public should treat such allegations with caution, insisting that they could be attempts to set him up.
The situation has continued to attract attention on social media, with many users reacting to the claims and the ongoing feud between the personalities involved.
As of the time of this report, King Mitchy has not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
