
In Kasuwan Daji village, Niger State, a woman recounted the horrifying attack by bandits that left two of her four children dead and forced her family to flee into the bush for safety.
She said the assailants stormed the village in the night, leaving destruction and death in their wake.
“I saw two of my children being killed before my eyes.
The other two survived. We ran into the bushes to escape, leaving everything behind. We have nowhere to go and no food,” she said, her voice trembling.

The woman pleaded for urgent intervention, saying, “Our lives have been shattered. We need help, and we need protection.”
The incident underscores the ongoing insecurity in parts of Niger State, where civilians live under constant threat and struggle to survive after losing loved ones and homes.
