Nigerian streamer and skitmaker, Caterefe, has narrated how his father, a police officer, was killed by armed robbers who disguised themselves in military uniform during a robbery operation in Ogun State.
He explained that his father had closed from duty and chose to join a police patrol van to the nearest bus stop on his way home.
While travelling along the highway, the van ran into a traffic gridlock caused by criminals who had mounted a robbery operation on the road while wearing military camouflage to deceive motorists.

Thinking they were genuine security personnel, his father and some of his colleagues stepped out of the vehicle to find out why vehicles were being stopped.
However, the men in military uniform turned out to be robbers, and once they noticed the police uniforms, they opened fire on the officers.
Caterefe said the incident left him deeply traumatised because he later saw his father’s lifeless body in a video clip that was circulated online and remains available on YouTube.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the content creator said the tragedy exposed him to pain early in life and shaped his resilience.
“I am not a stranger to pain. I have gone through a lot. There is no pain that will make me stop my grind,” he added.
