A cement-laden truck lost control on Monday morning at the Badagry Roundabout, killing one traffic officer and two commercial motorcyclists.
The victims were an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority who was on duty, and two motorcycle riders waiting for passengers at about 9:45 a.m.
Eyewitnesses said the truck veered off course while approaching the busy junction and rammed into the victims, causing panic in the area.
An official of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps said the driver attempted to manoeuvre to reduce the number of casualties.
