The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the tragic death of 26-year-old Precious Mogaji, who was found lifeless at her boyfriend’s doorstep in the Oguntula area of Ojoo, Ibadan.
According to the police spokesperson, Olayinka Ayanlade, the incident was reported early Monday by a Good Samaritan.
The victim’s boyfriend, Quadri Mohammed, 29, is currently at large, and authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend him.
While the exact circumstances of Mogaji’s death are still under investigation, the police have conducted a forensic examination at the scene.

The body has been moved to a hospital morgue for autopsy to determine the precise cause of death.
Contrary to initial reports circulating in the media, the killing did not occur in Akobo, nor did it involve a husband attempting to hide his wife’s body.
The Oyo State Police Command urges anyone with information to contact the nearest police station or the state command and cautions the public against spreading unverified reports on social media.
Investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mogaji’s death is ongoing.
