The highly anticipated 45th edition of the Miss Nigeria pageant will take place on December 19, 2024, at a grand ceremony in Lagos.

Organized by The Audrey Silva Company (TASC) and spearheaded by Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Rita Dominic, this year’s pageant has been reimagined to go beyond traditional beauty standards, aiming to showcase unity, diversity, and female empowerment under the theme, “Beyond Beauty: Reigning Together as Queens.”

This year, the Miss Nigeria pageant has strongly emphasized inclusivity and accessibility. Contestants representing Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones will grace the stage, celebrating the country’s cultural diversity and showcasing beauty in all shades and backgrounds. The pageant has also waived entry fees to ensure that women, regardless of socioeconomic status, have the opportunity to participate. Additionally, the organizers, in partnership with an airline sponsor, will cover travel expenses, meals, and accommodation throughout the competition.

Rita Dominic, describing the pageant’s vision, said, “We want to inspire unity. Regardless of where you are from, it is possible to embrace one another. We are united, and we have to show that.”

In preparation for the finale, the 33 contestants will participate in a two-week camping program, which includes mentorship, skills development, and cultural activities.
