The Osun State Police Command has successfully rescued 15 youths from a suspected human trafficking syndicate and arrested individuals linked to the crime.
The victims, aged between 20 and 30, were reportedly brought into Nigeria from Niger, Togo, and the Benin Republic with promises of employment and better living opportunities.
They were discovered in a three-bedroom apartment at Adeleke Estate, Osogbo, during an intelligence-led operation by the State Intelligence Department (SID).
According to Police spokesperson Abiodun Ojelabi, officers acted on credible tips from community informants and surveillance reports that pointed to suspicious activities at the property.
The police monitored the location, confirming that the youths were being held against their will, before moving in to safely extract them.

If you want, I can also make a more engaging, story-driven version that emphasizes the victims’ ordeal and the police operation, it would read more like a gripping news feature. Do you want me to do that?
