Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has responded to rumours claiming he interfered in the marriage of actress and reality TV star Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam.
In an interview with BBC Igbo, Arukwe dismissed speculation that their on-screen chemistry in a recent film reflected a real-life romantic relationship.
He explained that he was mindful of Bambam’s marriage during filming and made sure to discuss boundaries with her before performing scenes that involved physical contact. According to him, he wanted to avoid any action that could be misunderstood or create issues in her home.

Arukwe recalled asking the actress if there were ways of handling the scenes that would not make her husband uncomfortable.
The actor also denied claims that they were involved off-screen, stating that he had never met Bambam prior to working together on the project.
He added that despite this, rumours quickly spread suggesting they were dating or had been intimate, which he insisted was completely untrue.
