Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is set to face trial over alleged false accounting linked to Victor Osimhen’s 2020 transfer, following claims that the deal was heavily inflated.
Prosecutors say the valuations of Orestis Karnezis and three youth players — Manzi, Palmieri and Liguori — were artificially boosted to strengthen Napoli’s financial books.
De Laurentiis, his associate Andrea Chiavelli and the club have all been ordered to stand trial, with proceedings scheduled to begin on 2 December 2026.
