Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has begun her rehabilitation in the United Kingdom following a successful surgery on her left foot.
The 27-year-old underwent the operation last weekend after suffering a persistent injury to her left foot that failed to heal properly during initial treatment.
The injury caused her pain and limited mobility, forcing her and her club, Al-Ittihad Ladies, to opt for surgery to ensure a full recovery.
