Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has once again affirmed his administration’s dedication to strengthening and transforming the public education sector in the state.
Soludo made the remark during an appearance on Sunday Politics, a Channels Television programme.
According to him, “We took a deliberate step to revitalise and transform the public school system.”
Quality education begins with quality teachers. Within our first nine months in office, we recruited 8,115 teachers through a transparent and competitive process, drawing qualified candidates from 18 states across the country.
Our priority is the future of the Anambra child — they deserve to be taught by the most competent professionals available, not simply someone from their community who lacks the necessary qualifications,” he stated.
