A tragic road accident has claimed the lives of several passengers after a petrol tanker collided with a commercial tricycle in Delta State.
The incident occurred at Refinery Junction, near Effurun Roundabout, in Uvwie Local Government Area.
According to reports, the tanker reportedly suffered brake failure before crashing into the tricycle, leading to the fatal outcome.

Emergency responders and sympathizers were seen at the scene working to clear the wreckage and restore order to the area. The victims were later evacuated and deposited at a nearby morgue.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the incident as of the time of this report.
