Popular Nigerian content creators Peller and Carter Efe have drawn widespread criticism after destroying each other’s cars during a heated confrontation that was streamed live on social media.
A viral video from the incident shows both men climbing onto the vehicles and smashing the windscreens with stones while thousands of viewers watched in real time.
The dramatic scene quickly spread across platforms, sparking outrage and condemnation from the public.
The reason for the clash remains unclear.
However, Peller later addressed the incident during another live broadcast, claiming he acted in retaliation for the alleged destruction of his personal property by Carter Efe.
He admitted initiating the confrontation by climbing onto Carter’s car, insisting his actions were provoked by previous damage to items in his studio.

Carter Efe, reacting to Peller’s claims, dismissed the justification and described the action as excessive, saying the confrontation went too far.
The incident attracted further backlash because the damaged vehicle was reportedly gifted to Carter Efe only days earlier by Nigerian businessman E-Money.
Many Nigerians expressed disappointment that expensive property was destroyed during a live broadcast, describing the act as reckless and irresponsible.
The controversy has reignited debate over the responsibility of online influencers and the growing trend of extreme stunts carried out for views and engagement.
Critics say such behaviour sets a poor example for young audiences and could encourage copycat actions if left unchecked.
