
The Ogun State Police Command has launched a full-scale investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a Nigerian TikToker known as Mirabel (@mirab351), following widespread outrage online.
The incident reportedly occurred in the Ogijo area, where the victim was attacked in her residence early on Sunday morning.
According to her account, the assailant forced his way into her apartment, assaulted her, and fled, leaving her in a fragile condition.
She was later found by a friend and immediately taken for medical care.
Upon receiving reports of the assault, the Commissioner of Police directed the Divisional Police Officer of Ibafo Division to establish contact with the victim and ensure her safety.

Preliminary information was recorded at the Ibafo Police Station, after which she was escorted to a medical facility for urgent assessment.
She was subsequently transferred to the Ogijo Police Station for formal documentation and continued investigation.
Authorities confirmed that the victim has been referred for extended medical care to support her recovery, while the police continue to investigate all leads in the case.
The Ogun State Police Command has reiterated its commitment to protecting the victim and bringing those responsible to justice.
The command has urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward to aid the ongoing investigation.
