The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, has arrested 20 foreign nationals in the Danbare area of Kumbotso Local Government Area for entering the country without valid documentation.
The suspects, reportedly from Sudan, Chad, and other neighboring countries, were apprehended following credible intelligence and a coordinated operation by NSCDC operatives.
Addressing journalists on Tuesday, Kano State NSCDC Commandant, Mohammed Agalama, said the arrested individuals could not provide valid travel or identification documents, raising concerns about their mode of entry and activities within the state.
